I am VERY excited about this new P90X program. I think P90X is the most complete program ever. From the Nutrition plan to the extreme workouts to the amazing community of people that have become part of a fitness movement. I continue to go back to the Original P90X often. It is my go to program and I use the workouts when I have some extra time to fill in some days that I feel like I need a little extra.
One of the reasons I do not do the full program more often is the time the workouts take. I like that they are complete and very effective but just over an hour per day (some days more) they are harder to fit into my schedule. I know a lot of people feel the same way. P90X 3 is going to be such a HUGE benefit as the workouts are super concentrated to 30 minutes! I am excited to see if I can get those same P90X results that I expect and know in these new 30 minute workouts.
I trust Beachbody and Tony Horton. They do not produce phoney workout plans. I am sure this will be intense and focused. I know they hit a home run with Focus T-25. I never thought a 25 minute workout would get results or push my fitness to the next level but WOW it sure does! T-25 is like a super concentrated INSANITY. If P90X 3 brings it like T25 did, we are all in for a Fitness Treat. P90X will once again re-invent home fitness! I can’t wait until December! I will keep you posted on when this new Program is available (after I get my order in of course) 🙂
Here is what Mr. Tony horton has to say:
Creator of P90X®, P90X2®, and P90X3™
You know what I keep hearing lately? “Tony, your programs are awesome, they make me look incredible. But an hour every day? Come on . . .”
I get it. You want the results, and you’re willing to do the work, but your freakin’ schedule is jam-packed.
And you know what I have to say to that? GOOD.
Because that’s what challenged me to roll up my sleeves and set out to create something truly revolutionary . . .
P90X 3’s Muscle Acceleration-the ultimate EXCUSE-BUSTER.
I took everything I learned from P90X and P90X2—coupled it with new science that shows intense 30-minute workouts can get you in better shape faster—and slammed it all into overdrive.
The result? Short, targeted, intense workouts that take just 30 minutes—but leave you looking like you’ve been tearing it up in the gym all day, every day.
